Maliaka & Associate’s primary goal is to empower individuals to become leaders and take action in their communities and increase appreciation of social inclusion for individuals with different abilities. Maliaka & Associates consultation provides a parent of a child with a different ability (special need) to access the educational and community supports and services necessary for their child to reach their maximum potential. Below is an example of such services, but are not limited to:
- Review of educational, medical, and other pertinent records and documents
- Educate parents on service delivery systems, legal rights, and opportunities
- Provide direction in navigating programs and services
- Parent support and mentorship
- Attendance at IEP, IPP, and other pertinent meetings
