Maliaka & Associates is rooted in the principles of rights, independence, and choice. Person-Centered Planning is a process directed by the family or the individual-served, intended to identify the individual’s strengths, capacities, preferences, needs, and desired outcomes.  A person-centered plan provides information about a person.  This process helps individuals work out what they want, find the support they require and help get it. This plan is a process with the person at the center of the plan family and friends are partners in Planning. Proper Planning leads to positive change.

Maliaka & Associates believe that person-centered Planning is an ongoing process.  Person Center Planning leads to continual operation of listening, learning, and action and helps the person gets what they want out of life. Understanding from Planning can inform individuals and select service delivery as a whole and inform and inspire others to achieve more extraordinary things. It is about citizenship, inclusion in family, community, the mainstream of life, and self-determination. This approach requires some very fundamental changes in thinking and the established balances of power, the implications of which are potentially enormous and far-reaching.

Person-Center Planning with an Independent Facilitator is a service facilitated by a certified independent facilitator, directed by the individual-served or the family, to identify the individual’s strengths, capacities, preferences, needs, and desired outcomes. An assessment is a tool used to elicit information about the individual-served. The collected information creates the Individual Plan (Person-Centered plan).

Maliaka & Associates invites participants to join CAMP CRE8, it is a culture, it is a community of individuals that believe in each other. We embrace the motto “to be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.” Camp Cre8 host inclusive programs, camps and an inclusive learning lab provide social learning opportunities for children of all abilities all year long especially during winter, spring and summer break vacations. In addition, we offer a year-round inclusive learning providing an inclusive learning lab for academic support and supplemental instruction. No child is excluded. Leadership training and support will be provided to participants by using a combination of necessary life skills support, Maliaka & Associates Social Awareness curriculum, Behavior Modification training, basic development training and practices will provide practice, training and modeling with a focus on socially appropriate behavior with age-appropriate peers. Programs will offer character building in the following areas: social awareness, meaningful relationship building, peer modeling, skill building, team building, build confidence, sense of belonging, community awareness, safety supervision, and academic support.

Maliaka & Associate’s primary goal is to empower individuals to become leaders and take action in their communities and increase social inclusion for individuals with different abilities. This consultation offers working professionals providing service and support to individuals with disabilities, a learning station. Our talk will be a learning platform that offers one-on-one training, problem-solving, and modeling. There is an emphasis on empowering working professionals to enhance their creative skills and participate in workshops and seminars that polish and maintain skills and knowledge. Even experienced professionals in their fields require continuing professional education to remain current on new laws and regulations affecting their practices. We are here to create with you.

Maliaka & Associate’s primary goal is to empower individuals to become leaders and take action in their communities and increase appreciation of social inclusion for individuals with different abilities. Maliaka & Associates consultation provides a parent of a child with a different ability (special need) to access the educational and community supports and services necessary for their child to reach their maximum potential. This program provides academic support and social learning opportunities for children of all abilities. No child is excluded.
